Oprah Winfrey Considers ‘Possibility’ of Running for President After Donald Trump’s Win

 In the past,Oprah Winfrey had made it clear she had no thoughts of ever running for president .It now appears she is having a re-think following Donald Trump's win.

During a recent interview with Bloomberg Media, the show host, David Rubenstein said

Have you ever thought that , given the popularity that you have, we haven’t broken the glass ceiling yet for women, [but] that you could actually run for president and be elected?

 Winfrey looked surprised at the question as the audience cheered and applauded his suggestion, then replied

“I actually never considered the question, even the possibility,”“I just thought, ‘Oh. Oh!’”

Rubenstein pressed further for a confirmation, hinting at the fact that current president Donald Trump is the first U.S. president to serve without any government or military experience ;He said

“It’s clear you don’t need government experience to be elected president,”

In response,Winfrey added

That’s what I thought!”I thought, ‘Oh, gee, I don’t have the experience, I don’t know enough.’ And now I’m thinking, ‘Oh.’”
