Yesterday, it was revealed that former Super Eagles player Kanu Nwankwo lost a huge sum of money upon arriving in Russia for the World Cup. The money was allegedly stolen from his luggage on arrival at the Moscow airport over the weekend.
Speaking with AOIFootball.com Kanu said that the local police have returned the stolen money. “Yes it’s true that the money was stolen from me, but I can confirm to you right now that I have my money with me and I’m grateful to the security agencies for helping to recover it back,” He said.
