A certain Taofeek Sosanya has reportedly been stabbed to death at his friend’s house causing detectives from the homicide section of the Lagos State Command to launch an investigation into his murder.
The deceased Sosanya, 28, had reportedly gone to the said friend’s place to celebrate the Eid el-Fitr, in hopes of returning to his base in Ogun State on Monday.
Sunday night, he went outside his friend’s house to receive fresh air outside after power outage and slept off in the process.
Someone reportedly raised alarm after unknown armed persons invaded the area murdering Sosanya in the process.
The Lagos State Police public Relations officer, CSP Chike Oti, who confirmed the incident said investigation into the matter had begun.
“Policemen visited the scene and removed the corpse, which was deposited at the Mainland morgue for autopsy.” he said.
