Footage from Manchester United’s training ground has captured a menacing exchange between manager Jose Mourinho and unsettled midfielder Paul Pogba.
Mourinho confirmed on Tuesday that Pogba would no longer be selected as Manchester United’s vice-captain. While the he denied a rift between himself and the Frenchman, it is believed Mourinho is angry at Pogba for pushing for a transfer.
Manchester United trained this morning following last night’s shock defeat to Championship side Derby County in the Carabao Cup.
Footage shows Pogba greeting Manchester United assistant coach Michael Carrick before stopping in his tracks after a comment from Mourinho. Pogba glares at his manager before turning to some members of United’s coaching staff. The pair then appear to have a frosty exchange as a number of Manchester United players look on.
