Professor Prof. Oludare Agbi, a former Nigerian Ambassador to Greece and Australia, died this morning after a brief illness.
He was said to have slumped in his house in Akure,Ekiti state capital, and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital where he later died.
The history professor, who was the chairman of the Elders Forum of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo State, died at the age of 73.
Prof. Agbi who was said to have died of an undisclosed health problem,attended the just concluded national convention of the PDP held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, over the weekend.
